Residential Areas
Called 'Where People Live' in source data, it represents housing density per 30 sq meters recoded into 7 classes. This dataset is derived from the LandScan 2009 night population count data and is based on the number of housing units per acre. The WPL dataset is intended for regional and state planning purposes. Not all areas of homes are represented. Vacation homes account for the most missing data. Use better state and local data if available.
